I would say a neo mastiff just because there more setteled down. from alex
Most breeders recomend not to breed another breed with a pitbull terrier. The reason is that the pitbulls have a stable temperament a breeding with another breed will ruin that.
Virtually all species of dogs can interbreed.
I have an ebt x mastiff
Not if you have no idea of the genetic and hereditary history of both going back several generations. You're better off, just to be safe, to breed the heifer to an unrelated bull.
yes English mastiffs are great guard dogs, they breed of dogs came from Britain and they were used for protection dogs against intruders and that's how they get there origin and instincts to protect
Yes, but inbreeding is not a good idea.Yes, but inbreeding is not a good idea.
In my experience, not at all. They tend to be rather slow and lazy, and excellent with children. I even know one who's best friend is a cat. They look rather intimidating, but are excellent family dogs. :) Large breed dogs such as mastiffs have gotten bad press primarily due to the actions of people, not the dogs themselves. As stated above, mastiffs are intelligent gentle animals. They are loving and attach very strongly with their families. Any breed of dog, and even mutts require responsible handling. Even the breeds that are known as "biters" such as pit bulls--a reputation the breed does not deserve by the way--have gotten that reputation more by the irresponsibility of a few and over exposure in the media. If you want a good idea of the best pet for you and your family, talk to a reputable veterinarian.
Staffordshire bull terriers were originally bred for dogfighting, which means it is a strong breed. Therefore some people think that it is not a good idea to have two or more Staffies, but rather to have another, non-strong breed with a Staffie. However, it is possible to have more than one Staffie, as long as they are all socialised and gets discipline.
Kennel Club's around the world have breed standard's for each breed that describe what the ideal Dog from that breed should look like (for example, the English Bull Terrier Breed Standard describes the perfect English Bull Terrier). The idea is that breeders should try and breed Dog's as close to their breed standard as possible, with the best examples winning shows such as Crufts. Dog's that most closely match their breed standard are awarded prizes and Champion Certificates at serious shows.
If the dog was born deaf, it's not a good idea to breed it.
This is not a good idea as the gene pool is too close.
a young bull is called a bullock
When looking to adopt a dog, you definitely should not exclude the Pit Bull. Reputable shelters and animal rescues will not adopt out any dog that shows signs of aggression. It's always a good idea to bring your entire family to the shelter when considering adopting a dog of any breed. Talk to the rescue organization about your concerns and ask questions before adopting any dog. Most Pit Bull adoptions are very successful. An adoptable Pit Bull will make a wonderful pet and companion for you and your family.
inbreeding is not a good idea. not recommended. but yes they will mate once the babies grew up
It could cause genetic problems most likely so I would not recommend it.
