If it is pink you could if you really wanted to but if it is black i would suggest against it. Cooked shrimp turns pink. But i dont see why you would want to eat frozen shrimp unless you couldn't wait 10 minutes to thaw it out.
Actually, they may be a bit tough and not have the best flavor, but you can dice them up and make shrimp-fried rice with it. You can also make shrimp mousse, but that's a bit advanced , and not nearly as popular in most places.
That would depend on the amount of freezer burn. Eating freezer-burned shrimp would not be detrimental to your health, but the flavor will be less than desirable. If there's just a small amount on the shrimp, you could try cutting it off - but it might not be worth the effort.
No, the freezer burn is not toxic, it just dries out the shrimp and it will not taste 'fresh'. Provided the shrimp was fresh when first frozen and has remained frozen then you should not get sick.
Freezer burn won't hurt you. It just alters the taste of the food. So, you can eat the shrimp, but it might not taste too good.
after chicken is freezer burn you can eat it would just taste dry and stringy
Microbiologically, it would be probably be safe, but it would taste terrible!
The only way I know of to remove freezer burn is to cut out the effected pieces.
I don't think it's a good idea to eat freezer burn it tastes wierd.
Your nose will tell you if the shrimp has gone bad. Defrost one under cool running water and sniff...if you detect any iodine odor it is turning. Shrimp should have a healthy ocean aroma, or no odor at all. You generally can't tell by visual inspection.
I would eat it if it doesn't have freezer burn.
Anything left exposed to air in the freezer will freezer burn
Freezer burn is what happens when frozen food is exposed to air. While safe to eat, the food might not taste fresh.
some oxymorons are small crowd, pretty ugly, freezer burn, and jumbo shrimp.

Raw shrimp cannot be refrozen. This is because the raw shrimp will get freezer burned and could grow harmful bacteria.
If you don't let the berries get freezer burn in the first place, then they will have no such taste. If they aren't in sauce, perhaps rinsing them off might get rid of an off flavor, if it is just a faint stale smell in the freezer itself, rather than actual freezer burn.
yes they do eat shrimp...
