In the British, Canadian and Australian military traditions , only the person who was awarded the medals may WEAR them. A family member may have them, and display them at home.

Medals are not re-issued. However you nay be able to find out (from official sources) which medals your grandfather was awarded then purchase second hand medals (that other recipients have sold) to match.
