ANSWER from Mary Urquhart on April 3, 1997: You couldn't light a fire on Mars because there isn't oxygen in the atmosphere to react with the material you want to burn. Fire is a chemical reaction where oxygen combines with other substances and produces heat and waste products (like carbon dioxide and soot when you burn wood).
Flames cannot appear on Mars, because there isn't any oxygen on Mars. Fire, or flames, are fueled by oxygen, and since there isn't any oxygen on Mars, it is impossible to perform flame tests on Mars.
No fire needs oxygen to burn, and the Martian atmosphere concists mainly of Carbon Dioxide.
The planet mars has heat on there because of the redness, and also it is cold, so it is mixed.
Its too cold to have fire!
it takes 88 days for mars to complete its revolution round the sun
blob says: '' of course there is! h20(water) has been proven by scientist that it is located on mars and that there is 36% of that on the red planet"!

Astronauts went to mars and had a interesting theory and had some proof and took tests
Evidence says the Mars Corporation tests its products on rats and mice. The company, in its defense, claims it only tests things that are likely to not hurt the animals.
NO
It May be possible to live ON Mars as they have found Ice. But Probbebly not IN mars.
Yes it is certainly scientifically possible. See links on terraforming and in particular Mars.
As yourself. Probably not because mars is so cold and hot at the same time. ROvers could go Another Answer: It's not possible to "fly" to Mars. It is on the other hand possible for us with current technology to navigate interplanetary spacecraft to Mars.
It's possible for microscopic worms!
It is not currently possible to create an artificial atmosphere on Mars. Even if it was, Mars does not get enough sunlight needed to sustain human life.
