Does Mars have iron or nickel?

yes mars has iron or nickel for sure

What is the inside of Mars made of?

The interior of Mars is composed of iron, nickel and sulfur.

Define inner planets?

Every inner planet has a core. The cores of Mercury, Venus, and Earth are composed of iron-nickel. Mars's core is made of liquid iron sulfide mixed with some nickel.

What does the planet mars look like in the inside?

Mars' core is made primarily of iron and sulfur. It has a solid core like Earth that is wrapped in a mantle made of silicates. A mantle comprised mainly of silicate and a thick crust which appears to be basalt thinly covered in iron-oxide dust. Mars composition is quite similar to Earth's. Its core is mainly made from iron and sulfur. It is surrounded by a mantle of silicates and this is wrapped with a crust of basalt and iron oxide. Wow the previous answer was just bad. Mars much like earth has a core that is predominately Nickle, Iron and Sulfur. The mantle is likely Silicon, Oxygen, Iron, and Magnesium. The crust is volcanic rocks. Since the core is completely solid unlike earths there is no dynamo effect to create a magnetosphere which causes the surface of Mars to be highly irradiated at times due to solar radiation.

What is the planet Mars' composition?

Mars is made of a solid iron core.

Do any of the planets have nickel in them?

Mars, Earth and Venus very probably have substantial deposits of nickel, and nickel is common among meteorites. So it is also likely that iron and nickel will be fairly common in the asteroid belt.

What planet has iron?

Mercury.Btw use the correct wording on questions. Meaning you should have asked "Which planet has a core of iron larger than our moon?"

Which planet is rich on iron?

Mars. The soil of this planet is rich in iron oxide, which gives the planet a characteristic color. >:)

What is Mars' core composed of?

it has the same core as earth, just on another planet

Why does earth have a large iron core?

I may have the answer but it will take a lot of thinking about. Just beyond Mars is the Asteroid belt. Which contains a lot of rocks etc. It also contains large lumps of Iron/Nickel. I believe that a large lump of this Iron/nickel was knocked out of the Asteroid belt and was sent flying towards the newly forming Earth. However Mars was in the way. Actually, its moon. The iron/nickel hit Mars moon shattering it into three parts.( it you look at the part of the moon that are left you can clearly see an impact crater on one of the parts. There are only two parts as the third part hit mars. If you look at Mars you can again see a huge crater. this damage destabilized Mars and the life that was there started to die and the Sea started to evaporate as the magnetic core of Mars slowly cooled. The Iron/nickel core then crashed into the newly forming earth and embedded itself. The shock wave created finally hit Mars and ripped what was left of its atmosphere. The Iron/nickel melted under the extreme heat as the planet reformed and I think that is where the Earth got its Iron/nickel core. As it hit the earth a large amount of material was ejected. Most of this fell back to earth but some gathered together to form our moon. This however is all only theory but it does explain quite a lot if you think about it.

What is Mars' surface made of?

It is made out of Iron oxide its also rusty

Which planet is called the rusted planet?

Mars is called the rusty planet because of the large amounts of iron oxide (rust) on the surface.
