Can you get pregnant the same day you stop taking your birth control?

If you used BCP and took each one on time, using to the last active pill in the packet, no you will most likely not conceive the first day you stop taking it. The reason most doctors tell you to use an alternate form of BC until after your period is you won't have any idea when you ovulate, until after your first period post pills.

Antibiotics can decrease the effectiveness of the pill. It is very possible to get pregnant while taking andtibiotics and birth control pills at the same time. See your doctor.
