No, it will not help. A puppy with Parvo will most likely die without immediate veterinary attention. There are antiviral medications that can be of some help, and most likely the pup will need IV fluids to keep it hydrated if it is to have any chance of surviving. The older the puppy is, the better it's chances, but Parvo is a very serious virus, and Pepto Bismol isn't going to do anything other than stop the puppy's body from trying it's best to expel the virus, if it even does that. If the dog hasn't had a Parvo test done, it should have that done right away to determine if that is the problem. A dog with Parvo needs to be treated as soon as possible. Even hours can make the difference between life and death. Good luck!

Regular strength Pepto Bismol can be given to dogs for the occasional vomiting or diarrhea, but it shouldn't be used for long term treatment of chronic problems.

The dose for liquid is regular strength Pepto Bismol is one teaspoon per 20 pounds of weight every 4-6 hours for 24 hours. The tablets can be easier to measure out and use for dogs, the dose is ¼ tablet per 20 pounds of weight and is also given every 6-8 hours.

If symptoms don't improve within 48 hours, it's time to see a vet.
