Yes I'm 11 to so my dad and I went to the bank and open an account with my name and his name so then we asked about debit cards and they said I could have one if a parent or legal guardian was a joint holder and watching how and when I used the card so then they printed my card and sent it to me in the mail and it's awesome cause now I don't ask my dad for money and I can make my own apple account with my card so yeah sure you can have one! Good luck it took a while to get my dad to get me one :)

∙ 12y agoYes you can get a credit card. I am 12 and i have a credit card under my mom's name. You can buy stuff in stores and take money out and also save it. But you can't order stuff online or anywhere with the card.

∙ 8y agoGenerally no; you cannot get your own credit card until you are age 18. A card can be issued in your name from another adult cosigner, but a legal minor cannot sign a binding contract to repay the loan.
