One does not entirely understand your question. Many schools have slogans, or mottos often in Latin, and these are displayed on tne crest of official insignia or logo. at times the Latin is rather obscure and cryptic. Sapientia et Dottrina- wisdom and doctrine ( implied, Teaching) - Doctor in original use meant teacher, not MD ( for example the use of the verb Indoctrinate) - this is the motto of Fordham. Latin mottos or slogans are more common on the college level. This is surely a worthy study and a fine alternative to , say graffiti sloganeering.
