yes it is a possiblity but there are regulations as with everything else in the army. If the degree is less than 20 or if you had two or less vertabre fused you are okay to try. anything more you will be dq'ed.
No..you would be medically disqualified..I went to join the service in 1994 and they said that I would not pass the physical exam..my scoliosis required corrective surgery..If you have very light scoliosis then you may be able to get into the service but it would be decided on the exam doctor.
im not really sure it depends if you have the spinal fushion operation if you have this operation you cannot join the army or marines if your curvature is small and you pass the health check im pretty sure you can join as long as your scoliosis causes you no problems
I believe not, I applied in 1992 when I was 18, however, I had surgery at age 12 and I was refused due to my scoliosis and surgery, this may have changed but the army is very demanding on the body
i dont see how they can turn you down cause u had scoliosis surgery i had that surgery almost 6 months ago. and i am doing great im dancing swimming and everything. i dont think they can hold it against u. like if i wanted to be a swimmer they cant say no you can cause u had surgery on ur back. just do what u want
You can possibly, but you will half too get a waiver I have had scoliosis surgery and have 2 metal rods supporting my back from it it all depends on how bad it is make sure you mention it too your recruiter lying will only make things worse.
unfortunately no i was told by my surgeon that i would not be able to join the military after having corrective surgery
No, a fused spine would make you ineligible.
If it is a condition which impairs your abilities to perform your duties, then, yes, you may receive a medical discharge, which will still be an honorable discharge.
No.
no
No, you cannot.
A loan default wouldn't disqualify you from joining the National Guard.
Not FOR joining the National Guard or Guard obligations, but that does not mean they can't fire you for other reasons.
Depends on the specifics of your crime. You need to speak to a National Guard recruiter for a definitive answer on this.
Yes
Yes.
First, there is no Air Force National Guard. It is called the Air National Guard. The military does not train anyone to become a doctor. You would go to med. school yourself and upon completion of the course, join the Air Guard as a physician.
Depends on the type and for what condition.
It is usually not a bad idea.
