Once a plant, or any living being is dead, it is dead and can't be brought back to life. However, if they are nearly dead but still alive, they can recover. Plants have a survival mechanism where it will allow the visible parts die and store as much as they can in their root system. This allows the plant to revive when condition are better, such as when water is available. But this has a limited time frame and too long a drought will still result in the plant dying.

If a shrub is truly dead, it is not going to come back to life, but a shrub can appear to be dead when there is still some life left in it (this is a common phenomenon, since there are many trees which seem to die in the winter, and to come back to life in the spring). If you care for it as if it were alive, keeping the soil suitably moist (but not too moist) it may come back to life. No guarantee.

Yes........... well what I did was I put a little water and gave it sun light and gave it a few days and my plant was back to normal. You can try that or something but it might not work but it worked for me. :)
