Yes you can. If you already have a plan, install your old sim card in the new phone after you charge the battery and turn it on. Do not "activate" the phone!
Also, you can use a prepaid "Go Phone" card in a non "Go Phone" phone. I know this from first hand experience; I called AT&T (via 611) from my Samsung Go Phone and they unlocked the SIM card for me, for free. I found out that when a person buys a prepaid AT&T phone and they get the $25.00 to $75.00 worth of free airtime the Go Phone's SIM cared is locked to the phone, after the phone is activated; however, once that obligation has been completed then they can unlock the SIM card and it will work in any regular(or prepaid) AT&T phone.
Yes, you can put your at&t SIM card into a GoPhone, and it will work, but if the go phone happens to be a Smart phone, and you do not call At&t and let them know and go on the internet you will be charged ALOT of internet usages!
i think it should work but the 'The last transaction cost 0.00. Your account balance is 0.00' messages will go away. Dial *777# to se your balance. *777*2# to see how many text messages you have left.
Yes you most certainly can. AT&T is a GSM service provider and any AT&T SIM will work in any AT&T device, with the exception of the iPhone. The iPhone cannot be used as a prepaid device due to the constant data usage of the device.
They say that you can't but we have done it with several go phones and it has worked just fine. I keep one with a charged battery (taken out of the phone when not in use) in my glove box. If I am ever in a bind and my primary phone is dead and can't be charged for whatever reason I have a backup and I just have top slip my sim card in and it is ready to go. tip--if u store your address book on your phone it might be a good idea to move it to the sim card so you don't lose the entries when you remove the battery to get to the sim card. Better safe than reentering all those numbers
AT&T should be able to give you an answer
In most cases yes, however please call 1-800-331-0500 to update your IMEI and SIM Card if applicable. Please be aware usually a GoPhone SIM card will NOT work in a post-paid phone.
I have been wondering this same question also. With my broken att goPhone I transferred the sim to a working RAZR v3 and an ATT Tilt. Niether of them worked as they both said no service. So the answer is NO.
You cant buy it as a gophone, you have to buy the gophone and the lg vu separately. I would recommend if you are looking to get a gophone, buy the cheapest gophone, then buy the lg vu. Do not registar the sim card with the gophone register it with the lg vu. Then it should work. If that does not work go to the att store they will glady register the phone for you. If you have a gophone and looking to buy a lg vu, take you old gophone to an att store buy the lg vu, ask if they can set up the phone for you. They probably will have to transfer your gophone sim card to a new sim card cause your gophone sim card is only registered for your gophone. You will still have the gophone service, same phone number and all your gophone features will work with this new sim card. Note* just in case, Make sure the phone works before leaving the store. I did this recently i got myself a samsung eternity and works great! I replaced it with an old gophone i had. So yes the lg vu can be used as a gophone. As well all att cell phones e,xcept the iphone (with the new update) and blackberrys, can work with the gophone.
Yes you can, you can go to an att store to buy the phone and have the people there activate it for you. Make sure it works before you leave tho because i left with it not working, found out later when i returned that if you register the sim card with the gophone you bought its locked with that phone, but its all good tho cause they will transfer your gophone number to a new sim card and set the new phone, samsung eternity, up for you. Also learned that all att phones, except iphones (with the new update) and blackberrys as of now, will work with the the att gophone. If your looking to buy a gophone and get a samsung eternity i recommend getting a cheap gophone, register the sim card with the samsung eternity not with the gophone you just bought. That will work as well
Yes however this is only limited to another card by the Same person (can't transfer Son's funds to your own) there may be a loop hole in this as you may be able to transfer to another card in which he is on another card under you.
A balance transfer is the transfer of balance in an account or a credit card to another account. It also refers to transfer of outstanding balance from one credit card to another credit card.
A balance transfer is when you have money in one bank and transfer that money to another bank. It is also when you have a balance on one credit card and transfer the balance to another credit card.
Yes, you can transfer a balance from one person to another, preferably WITH their permission..
Well, the sim card works just like any other sim card in a CINGULAR phone, but if you have the unlock codes to your other phone, I'm sure it will work.
The purpose of a balance transfer is to transfer balance. Many credit card companies allow the transfer of balance from one card to another. That is a balance transfer.
You can't do it yourself - you would have to contact the card company, and they'll transfer the points for you.
If one wants to transfer a balance from one credit card to another credit card, the gaining credit card will arrange the transfer. There is a transfer fee involved with the transaction.
Not possible. Best to contact the card issuer to be certain.
