∙ 11y agoFlexeril (Cyclobenzaprine) is a muscle relaxant, and it's great for dealing with back muscle spasms. However, it's less effective on sharp nerve pain.
Ideally, you'd use Flexeril along with an opiate analgesic med, like Vicodin or Percocet, depending on the severity of the pain and the cause.
