if there is wifi, it shouldn't cost
It would not cost the iPod user to send them. If the cell phone user pays per text message then they would be charged. If they have unlimited texting or whatever, there would be no cost. Have fun!
Its aboustley free for the iPod iPhone and iPad
It is possible to text a cellphone from an iPod Touch if you download a texting app, such as TextsUnlimited or Text Plus. Some apps may cost money, and others are free. Some free apps have text limitations, though.
iMessage is free over a wifi connection.
It depends on what 'Free Text' app you choose. Text Plus is completely free, while Unlimited Text is free, but only allows 15 texts per day, and the paid-for version of Unlimited Text allows unlimited texting on your iPod Touch or iPhone. It depends on your choice of text apps.
Yes. Text now for iPod, iPad, andiphone really free!
Text plus is an awesome app. completely free. I would get text free with voice. You then can call and text and that is free too. You have to send at least 1 text a month in order to keep your number open
It's called heywire or text free
It's free.
No, there are many applications that allow you to send free text messages and even make free phone calls. If you have ipod touch 2nd gen (with speaker or with speaker and mic) I recommend you get "fring" its a free application that actually allows you to make free phone calls. ( if you don't have a mic in your ipod, you can always buy apple earphones for iphone that have a mic attached to them)
The only way you can text is by using a free texting app, and some apps cost and others are free. TextNow is one of the best free texting apps as it allows you to text for free and inclues free picture messaging! Textplus+ is also free and great too. When you get a text your ipod touch will turn on and make a noise so you know that someone sent you a text. You can also set a ring tone too.
FaceTime doesn't cost anything, it's free.
