No but you can certainly save and dry the seeds from an over ripe tomato.
You may not get exactly the same variety as last year but it is worth doing.
Cherry tomato's like 'gardeners delight' are F 1 hybrids and may only exhibit dwarf fruits in the first year. Sowing this seed will result in the 2/3 ,1/3 rule of tall and short plants that Gregor Mendel worked out by carefully pollinating peas in a Hungarian monastery during the 19th century. Darwin died without knowing this genetic component even though they were alive at the same time. The Abbot threw away his notes after he died but luckily he had published his findings in an obscure journal.
Good luck!

ANSWER: Over use such as planting the same type of plant in the same plot of land year after year. That is why farmers rotate the crops they plant in a field from one year to the next.
It depends on which type of tomato cage you are using. If it is the wire cage, you simply wait until the tomato plant has been growing in your garden for about 3 weeks. Then set the cage over top the tomato plant and push the wire legs down into the soil. It is better to try this when the soil is soft after a rain.
It is better to pull up the plants and if they are disease free put them in the compost heap. If they are diseased burn them and use the ash.
I can determine how fast my tomato plant grows. I can learn how fast my tomato plant grows. How do I determine the sum of four plus four? How do I find the sum of four plus four?
because lets say you plant corn one year it takes certian nutrients and the next year you could plant coton because they are in differnt familes and they use differnt nutriets.
I found a tomato in the refrigerator.
The majority of Australian plants are adapted to a dryer climate than tomatoes are.
Jack ate the tomato
its just a smaller, better tasting tomato. so use a tomato
Most tomato plants need to be surrounded by support stakes or manufactured support "baskets" available at Home Depot, WalMart, etc.... If you can't find these, use my grandfather's method: Insert 1" x 1" stakes in the ground around the plant about 3' high, then tie strings around these stakes about every 6". Gently rest the limbs of the tomato plant onto the strings for support.
The average lifespan of a tomato would mostly be around the average of 10 days, or 5.9 billion years. Depending on what brand or seed you use. The tomato might not be as great but it will still be ok to eat and is great with chocolate milk. (call poisen control if you have eaten the tomato with any kind of fungus!)
