If it's heavy, you're more likely to have headaches, nausea, fatigue, bloating, etc. On light days, the only known symptom most women have is fatigue. Take an anti-inflammatory such as Advil or take Naproxen (Aleve). Those two have been known to help the best when it comes to headaches and cramps that go with a period. Midol and Pamprin are there if you want an all-in-one cure. Most of the time, taking two Aleve is all I need.
