Cliff has great straight dark hair and a symmetrical oval face like an Indian but is light - skinned. Since he was born in India it seems logical that he had an Indian progenitor, whether it was an Indian mother (though the name "Dorothy" doesn't sound Indian) or grandmother. Many people worked in India it would seem likely that a white civil servant could have married a beautiful Indian mother.

∙ 10y agohis grandparents came from England and both his parents were born in India, but they were British. CLiff is 2nd generation British. He states in his latest book, not only this information but that he had asked his mother if there was any Indian in his background and I believe she said no
