Looks like you don't have enough RAM. Increase Ram if your computer is capable and also run a thorough cleanup and defrag - your computer might be really cluttered and that's what makes it slow.

First, video rendering requires great processing speed so your processor should good if not the best, second, it uses up your ram/memory, third, the video renderer you are using, fourth, is your computer optimized meaning system clutter, fragmented files, fifth, status of your hard drive, if your hard drive is almost full, video rendering requires space to save its temporary files. Those are the main reasons why your computer is slow. I have experienced this problem before due to this reasons. I hope this can help.
