My suggestion is to be patient. The approval process for DMOZ can be far longer than a month. If you don't get approved within three months try resubmitting. Everyone wants to be in the DMOZ but that just isn't possible. Work on getting listed in other directories while you wait to help your site out. There is a chance it won't ever be accepted and you will have to accept that fact. There are plenty of great directories both paid and free you can still use.
