Yes, Art Carney had an older brother Fred Carney. Fred passed away at age 91 on March 2, 2006 at the Lillian Booth Actors Fund Home in Englewood, NJ. In the 70's & 80's Fred played character roles on numerous television shows such as Dallas, St. Elswhere, Incredible Hulk, The Jeffersons and many more often playing a doctor or a judge. He also played Alfred Schuyler in Richard Pryor's 1981 film "Bustin' Loose". Fred Carney was very jealous of his brothers success and when they would get together it often ended in an argument.
