no...he helped out though....He gave George Washington and General Braddock advice on how to fight and encouraged people to help out.

Well, I guess you could say that, all he really did was raise money to fight the british. He also kind of ended the war by signing the decloration of indipendince.

No! Franklin died in 1790. The Civil War didn't start until 1861. That's a gap of over 70 years.
