∙ 13y agoJames Madison and Zachery Taylor were cousins. My family descends from one of Zachery Taylor's earliest American ancestors. James Madison's grandmother (m. Ambrose Madison) was Frances Taylor. Her grandfather, James Taylor, was the emigrant from whom all three of us descend.
