A mere knight would have a hard time slaying a full grown dragon. This is probably why the dragon depicted in the historical accounts and artwork is so small. It was but a baby.
We do not know the date this legendary event occurred. Legend says that George slayed a dragon. Of course, we know that dragons do no really exist. He may have slayed some other animal that the people had labeled as a dragon, a crocodile, perhaps? However, it had to have happened before AD304 when he died.
I hope not because otherwise I will find him and when I do it will not be pretty for him.
The real St. george probably killed no dragon as dragons are mythological. he probably killed some other animal, perhaps a crocodile, and did so with his lance.
Since dragons do not exist, we can say that he did not a slay a dragon. Perhaps he did slay some other animal - a crocodile? At what age? Nothing is recorded.
At home.
St. George was a real person but the story of the dragon is a myth. Perhaps he killed another animal, such as a crocodile.

Yes, St. George was real. He was a 3rd century Roman soldier in Palestine who refused a direct order to persecute and kill Christians. For George was tortured and beheaded about the year 304 at Lydda, Palestine. The part about George slaying a dragon is probably an exaggeration, however.
One common phrase associated with St. George before slaying the dragon is "In the name of God and St. George, I shall slay thee." This quote highlights the bravery and faith of St. George in his battle against the dragon.
St. George was a real person and a martyr of the early Church. However, some of the things he is purported to have done, such as slaying a dragon, are legends.
No one. Dragons aren't real.
NO! Of course the dragon wasn't St. George's. A dragon can be owned by no man. So if he claimed to HAVE a dragon, it must have been a fake. However, he did fight a dragon, which is a completely different matter...
The duration of St. George Shoots the Dragon is 2.5 hours.
A myth - St. George and the dragon.
St. George was real. He was an early Christian martyr. He was a soldier in the Roman army and refused a direct order to persecute and kill Christians. For this, he was tortured and beheaded. Some of his deeds are probably mythical or, at the very least, exaggerated. Dragons have never existed. Perhaps he did kill some animal that was threatening a town such as a crocodile, but it is unlikely he could have slayed a dragon.
St. George Shoots the Dragon was created on 2009-03-11.
