All jews may shave their armpits if they want; even the ultra religious. We are not barbarians, and we value hygiene.

Answer 2

It depends on whether they are super orthodox or not.

Some orthodox people do not shave their armpits.

The more reform the jew, it is more probable that they will shave their armpits.

It's also sort of a choice, some very orthodox people do it.

It's personal choice, in the end.

As an Orthodox Rabbi, I am able to inform you that the halakha (religious Jewish law) does not directly address this topic. Shaving the armpits is permitted and is a matter of individual habit or preference.
