Black people, like all other people, are not all the same. They have different views, different hobbies, and own different things. Some of them own guns, some do not. Some black people who own guns use them for illegal purposes. Most do not.
Historically, gun control has been often disproportionately aimed at minorities, and so there may be some perception that they are somehow different in this regard from everyone else. This perception is incorrect. Gun ownership breaks down more along urban/rural lines than racial lines. People who live outside the city tend to be more comfortable owning firearms regardless of their race.
