I think you die from AIDS if you have the last level of AIDS
No in fact nobody dies from aids directly. AIDS weakens the immune system so that other diseases particularly pneumonia can kill the infected person.
AlsoAIDS is a frightening disease, and it is devastating many countries where it is spreading most rapidly. But in some countries AIDS is becoming more and more a manageable and managed disease. I'm not making light of it by any means. But there are people who were infected years ago (some with less virulent strains than exist today) and they sometimes die from causes not related to AIDS, just as anyone else might.I was diagnosed with AIDS 3 years ago! Thanks to the research and medications that are out there, I will live a very happy and healthy "full" life.
Disagreed Immunodeficiency Syndrome.
HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, attacks cells of the immune system. The immune system weakens progressively. Different diseases attack the person, and the body can't fight back. Hence, death, if you don't get medication early.
Not from HIV itself, but the virus attacks your immune system so you than can easily get other diseases and than your body cant fight them. and than you die from that illness
The HIV (virus) that causes AIDS is terminal.
Human Immunodificiency Virus (HIV) works in your body by destroying T cells which are used to fight other bodily infections. The T cell number will fluctuate over time and depending on the productivity of the virus and the viral load achieved, an HIV positive person may be categorized as having Autoimmune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) where your body's immune system is no longer able to function proficiently to fight other infections. Sometimes the T cell count gets so low that the body is no longer able to fight infections. People with HIV may more often die from secondary infections that the body cannot handle because their immune system has become compromised. With developing and current medications like HAART people with HIV are now living longer, more healthy lives. Yes. Because it is an immunodeficiency disease which attacks your T cells which protect you against infections a person suffering from HIV or AIDS can die of opportunistic infections. Of course, even worse... it first makes you suffer... then kills you!
Everyone dies. This is regardless if you have HIV or not. The only real issue that HIV+ people (like myself) are more prone to ifection of things like the flu or the common cold. Not every HIV patient dies from HIV. With advaces in medicine, there are medications that can keep you going and healthy so you can live an almost normal life. HOWEVER; if an HIV patient DOES NOT take care of themselves, they could die sooner.
No one dies of AIDS itself. AIDS takes away your body's immune system, and the smallest amount of a virus or bacteria can overcome your body and kill you. That's how people die of AIDS. Anyone with AIDS will eventually die from it.
