In general what kind of art do autistic people like?
Autistic people are just as varied in their tastes as neurotypical people or allistic people as a whole. There is no one type of art that Autistic people like in general, everyone has different tastes.
Why do people with autism think like animals?
Autistic people do not think like animals. It is offensive to suggest that Autistic people (not 'people with autism') think like animals, we think like people because we are people.

Autistic people don't 'get' autism, Autistic people are born Autistic just like people are born African-American or born male/female. Tony Hawk thus was born Autistic, he became Autistic while he was still developing in his mothers womb.

Autistic people are no more special than anyone else. Although savants tend to be Autistic, and Autism can give people advantages such as 'special interests' that allow Autistic people to quickly become experts in subjects or unique understandings...Autistic people are still just like anyone else.

Yes, Autistic people can work - although those who are severely effected may not be able to work, and those who are less severely effected may be restricted in what work they can do. Currently 95% of Autistic people in the UK are not in full-tome employment or education, this is less a reflection on Autistic people's abilities and more on discrimination.Autistic people often find it hard to hold down jobs because workplaces often discriminate against them and it's difficult to continue to act neurotypical when you're not so Autistic people often experience burnout. Job interviews are also heavily biased against Autistic people, they focus on neurotypical behaviour such as eye contact and body language, interviews also often include role play and knowing when to hold back honesty, all of which are a struggle for Autistic people.
Can an autistic person make a child?
Yes, Autistic people can 'make' a child just like anyone else.Autism is a neurological variation, it doesn't prevent someone from reproducing just like a person of any other neurology. Autistic people are more likely to have Autistic offspring, especially if both mother and father are Autistic, but can also have children of different neurologies.
Could autistics marry other autistics?
I am high functioning Autistic and I believe there are "Autistic types", kind of like categories of personality and compatibility. I could date another Autistic person if they were like me and would love to marry one but could never marry a typical person(can't stand living with them, no offence) I think how many Autistic people its easier to marry or date another autistic person and most Autistic on autistic relationships I know are far happier and longer than Autistic on NeuroTypical relationships. I would love to marry an autistic guy.
Can autistic people have long life spans like typical people can?
Yes, autistic people can live as long as neurotypical people or people with other neurologies. There is nothing about autism that would shorten a persons lifespan.
Are autistic people like Sherlock?
On one hand autistic individuals are not mystery machines or pyschics. People should never compare them that way. They're still people but just think in pictures and sounds
Does ABA always help autistic people?
No, in fact ABA is considered to be abusive towards Autistic people.At it's best it is a form of training used to attempt to force an Autistic person to act like they are neurotypical - at it's core it assumes neurotypical is normal and that Autistic people are inferior, as such it is ableist and can teach low self-esteem in Autistic people, it also puts the burden on Autistic people to add to their strain by attempting to pass as neurotypical (rather than encouraging Autistic people to be themselves and encourage wider society to accept Autistic people). At it's worst ABA is abusive, involving abuse via punishment and denying Autistic people the things they need to maintain mental and neurological help e.g. preventing stimming or down time to cope with over stimulation, or punishing an Autistic person for suffering a meltdown which is beyond their control.
How differently do they treat autism in America than England?
In short, very differently. In England we have the Autism Act which ensures all Autistic people have a pathway to diagnosis, although there's limited support for Autistic people government staff are supposed to be trained to understand Autistic people, Autistic people don't face healthcare discrimination like in the US where they may be expected to pay more for health insurance, and there are anti-discrimination laws in place. In England we tend to me a lot more accepting of Autistic people. In America there is a lot of scare tactics being used by people like Autism Speaks to make money out of families with Autistic children - Autistic parents are expected to spend thousands and allow their children to be tortured to make them 'normal'. Autistic people can face a lot more discrimination both in terms of employment and healthcare, and generally within society people consider Autistic people to be less than neurotypical people and there are stereotypes about Autistic people being mass shooters or otherwise violent. Often Autistic children are murdered by their parents and there is such a problem of ableism around Autism that people support the murders. I'm Autistic and live in the UK, but I will be moving to the US to live with my Autistic husband - the difference in attitudes between the two countries is as different as chalk and cheese.
