I have heard a story that would suggest such. Supposedly, a group of people went in search of the chupacabra. Their guide took them to a place where the creature was thought to dwell, and they remained there for the evening. One of these individuals had a video camera, and though the camera didn't catch the creature on video, there was a good deal of screaming and dying.
