Most teachers do not but once in a while, you will find a teacher who is full of them self and only took the job for the money, which is not much even as is. These teachers are the ones who are getting fired up over their pay or fired.

∙ 12y agoSometimes they do. When I was little, my fifth grade teacher would always brag about her two daughters and how great they are. She said something like "They are on their way to being great scientists so you should follow their example and get off your lazy butts and work!"

That's why they're teachers--they're supposed to care about their students' education and if they really care, then they'll be concerned about their students' lives. Although to really see for yourself if teachers care, you need to approach them with issues concerning grades or just your life. I even have two teachers I stay in contact with because they had an impact on me, and I know they care about me because they'll give up some of their time to listen to me.
