Most people don't realize what the bride has to give up when she gets married. Sure the groom gives up his bachelor status, but the bride has to give up her name. So what if she gets married does that mean society gets to take her identity away to. So what if it's the "traditional" thing to do, anyone could be different if they want to be. For example the groom could take her name instead of the other way around. Or they don't even have to change their names at all, this way is less confusing and they keep their identities. -spirit967
