Today there are thousands of varying Churches each claiming to be following Jesus Christ. Yet these teach differing Gospels and disagree on countless points of doctrine. Do you think Jesus came to be the Head of all these different sects? Is Christ divided?? Or did He establish ONE true Church where He is the Head and promised the Gates of Hades would not stop it???
Yes, there are 'antichrist' churches. The word means 'against or instead of the anointed One.' These are false teachers who teach falsely the way of the world that is now controlled by the god of the world - Satan. Ask yourself some basic questions like; Do you believe Christ to be Divine and the Son or God who came in the flesh or do you believe Christ is a 'first creation' or some sort of archangel who decided to come to earth as a man? This idea began as Arianism in the young Church and exists today in some sects. Or do you believe to keep the Sabbath and Annual Feast Days of God or do you think Sunday and Christmas, Easter, etc are the correct way to worship God? Infant baptism or adult emersion? Individual and private confession or confession via a intermediary? Any meats can be eaten or there are dietary restrictions? Do we go to heaven/hell when we die or do we sleep until we are called to our Judgement process? Is Christ our perfect example we should strive to emanated or is life relative and what we think is good/bad is what really matters??
We each must make our individual choices on this 'train' of life. The saddest part about being deceived into believing something is that most everyone doesn't know they are being deceived. Remember, 'The fear (awe) of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; but fools despise wisdom and instructions.' (Proverbs 1:7)
