No I do not condone women being in combat situations except as medics or pilots or on naval ships. As infantry women are not excelling and they are experiencing problems in Iraq and Afghanistan. You know what the number one problem is? Pregnancy. They are hopping in bed together and the women are getting pregnant. I don't even like the cohabitation in the dorms because my step-daughter was in the marines and got pregnant while serving and she was not married. There are so many problems and you will see those issues on addressed on other questions. I would like to see segregation of the genders again in the military on the enlisted level. It worked fairly well before. There were fewer unplanned pregnancies and STDs.

Woman have been serving and dieing with honour in the Canadian armed forces. They have been doing the same job as the men and doing it with distinction. Properly trained and strong leadership will allow women to do the job. Women are serving in artillary units, forward observation, transport, as troopers and more. If the woman is capable, motivated and willing, she should be allowed the privileged of serving.
