Different school districts offer different programs. Most US high schools have school based programs, some middle schools do, and even fewer elementary school do. If the local school does not sponsor the sport, there may be a community agency that does. Some areas have football programs for children all the way from the primary years. An example is the Pop Warner Football program found in some areas. To find out what is available in your area, call your middle school or look up your local parks and recreation department under city or county government.
