Answer

No! Wheels are not made in 1/2 inch increments.

Answer

Yes wheels are made in one half inch increments. take this from someone who wasn't paying attentiona and tried to mount a 16 inch tire on and older 16.5 inch rim.

i dont think they are made 6 lug. most 16.5 wheels are 8 lug and are used on 3/4 and heavier trucks

Would a carburetor from a 350 Chevy fit on a 390 ford?

A 'stock' Chevy manifold bolt pattern is different from a 'stock' Ford bolt pattern, so the 'stock' carburetors are not interchangeable. If you are using an aftermarket 'universal' carb or going from a aftermarket intake manifold on both cars, it just might fit. Just check the bolt hole dimensions on the carb and the Ford before you start.

If a Chevy 350 starter bolt busted How can you get it out?

You will need to DRILL it out and if you mess up the threads then you will need to retap the bolt hole.

How do you measure a wheel bolt pattern?

measure the center of one hole to the center of the opposite hole. that measurement is the second number of the bolt pattern. the first number simply how many bolts there are. So, 5 X 5 1/2" means there are 5 bolts and the distance from one bolt hole to the opposite bolt hole is 5 1/2"

Do 5 lug Chevy rims fit Dodge 5 lug?

No, different bolt pattern. Some Ford and Dodge vehicles have the same bolt pattern. Must be similar vehicle type: Pick Up or car I found the bolt pattern and pilot hole similar. The difference was in the depth of the rim. The Chevy rim fouled outside edge of the Dodge brake caliper. Note: I only tested the front tires and do not know how it would work on the rear.

Will a 5x139.7 bolt pattern fit a 5x114.3?

It will not fit without an adapter. The 5 in that number refers to the quantity of bolt holes. The 139.7 refers to the distance between adjacent bolt holes in the pattern. In other words the distance between the upper most bolt hole and the lowest bolt hole in the pattern. Obviously, if the distance between the bolt holes is off by 25.7mm, this wheel will not fit. The only option is to purchase a bolt pattern adapter commonly referred to as wheel adapters, to change the bolt pattern of your vehicle.

Where do do you measure the 2001 accord bolt pattern from hole to hole clockwise or hole to hole diagonally?

to measure the bolt pattern on any given wheel, you measure the two lug holes which are furthest apart. If you had a 5 lug wheel, and the star pattern were standing straight up, you would measure from the center of the top hole, to the center of the bottom right or left hole. For a 2001 Honda Accord the bolt pattern should be 4x114.3 for the 4 lug wheels, and 5x114.3 for the 5 lug V6 models.

What is the lug pattern for a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited?

It's either a 5 on 5 bolt hole pattern or 5 on 5.5 bolt hole pattern. Call one of the local dealers, they can give you the correct bolt hole pattern, they are the same for many Jeeps year to year.
