Jamaica has a warm, tropical climate being located in the Caribbean and places with this type of climate and vegetation such as palm trees will have coconuts. With Jamaica being a popular tourist destination, I would doubt they would be without coconuts!

Of course Jamaica has coconuts. I live in Jamaica and trust me their quite abundant too. We buy them every Sunday to make a special dinner. By The way I came across this question while doing homework. Our climate acts in the favor of those types of plants.

Nope there isn't. There are only coconuts in more tropical areas. Why on Earth would coconuts grow where it is cold?!

Answer above is not completely correct.

The answer to this depends on what you mean coconuts or coconut trees. Coconuts regularly get washed up on the beaches of the British Isles (as a large floating seed, that has evolved to do in order increase the range of its species). I've even fished them out of the Thames estuary and have read that they can get as far as the city of London. At these colder northern climes that they can never germinate to form palm trees. That is, unless global warming goes completely barmy!
