Madonna wrote the English roses books based on five girls Binah, Nicole, Grace, Amy, and Charlotte. and going through there problems with each other and helping each other.

And i have all of those books and I recommend them they are great books and Madonna should write a few more stories because she is such a WONDERFUL writer.

In 1992 Madonna released her first coffee table book called "Sex", including explicit photos. In 2003 she made another coffee table book, "X-STaTIC Pro=CeSS", to accompany an earlier exhibition she and her photographer Steven Klein created. Both books are out of print and can cost between $80 and $500 second-hand, sometimes even reaching up to $1200; they are sold via online stores like Ebay or Amazon.

Since 2003 Madonna has switched to writing Children's Books, starting with her first children's book "The English Roses", of which there are different versions and a sequel of the best-seller, "The English Roses - Too Good To Be True" (2006). Between the years 2003 and 2006 she also wrote the children's books "Mr. Peadbody's Apples", "Yakov and the Seven Thiefs", "The Adventures of Abdi" and finally "Lotsa de Casha" (2005).

Her books are also available on audiobook, read by Madonna herself.

Some complain that the messages behind her stories are too difficult to understand for children but Madonna said this was done intentionally for the parents to get the message.
