Yes it does, and then Max saves Fang, than FANG decides to leave to ''protect'' her. When he had promised he wasn't going to leave Max in one of the other books. Its insane!!! But I know in my heart for sure Max loves Fang, as much as Fang loves Max.

In the 7th book, Max and Fang regroup, but it was isn't the same as before. Max is now in love with Dylan (they kiss like 3 times!), but Max isn't sure who she likes best.
