Ritalin can stimulate cognitive - especially verbal - brain activity. Thoughts and words can seem to flow much more clearly. In as much as Ritalin might increase one's propensity to vocal dialog, it could, as a side-effect of that, make one's voice more raspy or rough. This would not be any more a part of the mechanism of the drug as talking more than usual without stimulation by methylphenidate (generic compound that is in brand name Ritalin) would be. So technically, I would actually say no, I can't see any reason Ritalin would make your voice raspy any more than other things that would cause you to talk more, such as any stimulant drug, or giving a talk, or engaging in extended vocal dialog, etc.
I am not a medical expert so someone might eventually have a better answer for you.
Raspy is referred to as rough.
Raspy voices are born not made.
you flick their nose and say in a rough voice no bite...
Does Ritalin make you psychic?Nothing can make you psychic. If you believe in such things, you are either born with such powers or not, but Ritalin is used to calm hyperactive children, and is also used as a stimulant for adults. Neither of these functions have been known to make people psychic.
Absolutely....while there's not really any tests to say so, I see no reason why not, and have done so many times. Theanine is great for smoothing out the sometimes rough edges of Ritalin, as well as making for a more cozy and comfortable landing when the Ritalin wears off.
I recently wrote a song where the vocals are supposed to sound rough, but not quite growling/screaming.
Hoarse / Horse .
Raspy or grating.
