It comes with a chain.
Actually, I believe all 2000 and up models have chains. I checked for our 2000 Corolla on Rockauto, and a chain comes up. This is what is stated on Toyota discussion sites.
Lucky for you, the 2001 Toyota Corolla comes with a timing chain and is good for the life of the engine. No need to change it.

It does not have a timing belt. It has a chain..all 2003 Toyota Corolla Trims S, CE and LE have the same engine, the 1.8Liter 1 ZZ FE, The only engine Toyota makes anymore with a timing belt is the V8 that comes in the Tundra, Sequoia and 4Runner

Hello there If you have a 1996 Toyota tacoma,4 cylinders. THERE IS NO WAY to adjust the timing on this trucks, because it comes permanently configured,so you do not worry about adjust timing on your beautiful truck,so you have maybe another problem,or maybe you have to change the whole timing chain kit.
I own a 2006 Toyota Highlander and the oil change is recommended every 5,000 miles or every 6 months whichever comes first.
The 4-cylinder engine has a timing chain and there's no maintenance schedule that applies. The 6-cylinder has a belt with a scheduled replacement at 90-thousand miles or ten years, whichever comes first. Cheers
Yes. Unlike most other cars in its range the Nissan Tiida comes with a timing chain as opposed to the timing belt.
The 4 cylinder has a timing chain but the V6 has a timing belt. The belt on the V6 must be replaced at 110,000 miles or 10 years whichever comes first. No maintenance is required on the 4 cylinder chain.
The 2014 Toyota Highlander Hybrid comes in standard all wheel drive.
