So yes, it can help as a snack but that doesn't mean you can eat a ton of it and ton of junk food. A good, well balanced diet and exercise is the best way to lose weight. Be sure to eat lots of fruits and vegetables, as they help with the body in one way or another.
Yes and No. The celery is essentially stems, which absorb water (other fluids i do not know). so if you don't chew your celery very good and it hasn't digested yet, it does. The no part is that it most likely wont absorb non-water fluids.
