I don"t think so, Wells was a Science Fiction bloke ,. not a poet. at the time most of the light-to-middle poetry market was covered extensively by Rudyard Kipling ( in England) Kipling won the Nobel prize for literature in l907, the youngest writer to do so. Unless you count songs like (Across the Universe) which could be interpretations of signal lights from the front car of a subway train ( Images of Broken Light) well, there are not too many poems or songs with a sci-fi theme.
H.G. Wells has one poem that i know of (im trying to find more) its called Doomsday Song. and its impossibly hard to find. i found it in a poetry book, but nowhere online.
HG Wells had two brothers who teased him all the time.
