Unfortunately, the kindle does not have a backlight, although it would be handy to have if you are reading at night. The rest of the kindle makes up for it though. It has many amazing features, such as wireless connection and amazing books!
No, it does not. You read it as you would a book. It causes considerably less eye-strain, but it means you'll need to keep a light on if you're reading at night.
No the Kindle is not back-lit. However, with a book light, you can read on your kindle just the same as if you were to use a book light with a regular book.
The screen has no backlight, so you can't read in the dark.
There are several accessories designed for the Kindle, and you can purchase a lamp if you wish to read at night.
I don't know about the book color, but for my black and white one the touch screen has a backlight, but the actual screen dosn't.
Yes! It also has screen controls to adjust the brightness of the screen.
No.
No, the Kindle Fire doesn't read to you. You may want to get one of the regular Kindle for that. Also, if your main purpose is reading, the e-Ink screen of the Kindle Touch works much better than the LCD screen of the Fire; it won't bother your eyes, over time, as the back-light LCD screen will do.
I believe it is the Ambient light sensor to auto adjust screen brightness.
The marshinator!
Unfortunately you cant! the only way you can get light whilst reading without a bedside lamp is by purchasing a kindle colour with a light! If the kindle was able to light up, the battery would be drained very quickly!
Depends, what do you plan to do with it? If you want a cheaper price, go with the Kindle. If you like Apple then use itouch. More games on itouch, but smaller screen. Kindle better for reading and possibly watching videos.
No.The kindle fire & the HD can have games, and other fun apps.
The answer to this varies from person to person, but here are some things that might help you decide. The kindle is for people that like to do a lot of reading. The ipod touch is too small and will strain your eyes when reading for too long on it. If you like watching videos, both the Kindle fire and the ipod touch can do this, but the kindle has a bigger screen so it's easier to watch videos on it. If you listen to a lot of music then the ipod touch is the best choice for you. Both the ipod touch and the kindle fire have apps and can browse the internet. If your priority is mobility then the smaller ipod touch is the best choice for you.
With pure skill.
I always buy ebooks from iTunes with gift card, and then drop the iTunes purchases to my Kindle Fire for reading on my bed.
there is not an app for moviestarplanet on the kindle fire because i think you have to scan a code off of the screen and the kindle fire does not have a camera hope this helped
The kindle fire is 7.5 inches by 4.7 inches.
There is no evidence that you can get Pokemon Fire Red for the Kindle. The Kindle has a black and white screen which would be very hard to play the game on.
