In the King James version
the word - rags - appears 4 times, none of them in connection with the concept of "good deeds".
the phrase - good deeds - appears twice.
NONE!
The Gospel of John chapter number 54 verse 3.
It's a verse to a song not in the bible
The best Bible story for this is the Book of Job.
There is no such verse in the Bible. You are probably thinking of Matthew 23:25-26, where Jesus is telling the Scribes and Pharisees that they are hypocrites because they cleansed the outside of the cup but not the inside, meaning they made themselves look good on the out side, but inwardly in their heart they we like a dirty cup. This was one of their big problems. You do not want to put on a good exterior but be a filthy person on the inside.
In my interpretation of the Bible, works and deeds are not needed, but they're a good idea.
we all want to be loved, it is a positive force that gets good results like the good tree which gives forth good fruit.
If there was anything good about Jezebel we are not told about it in the Bible. A person as evil as Jezebel would have very few good traits and would certainly be over shadowed by her evil deeds.
it means that god will give you anything that is good and if you truly believe that he will give it to you
Yes, but the good people beat them up.
New King James VersionOh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
Do good deeds I have no idea
