Probably,they may have existed because some teeth fossils of sharks have been found and they do not match with any other shark fossils so there is probability of megalondon being existed in past but they do not exist now.
there is no evidence that a megalondon is still alive there is only fossils but maybe in the pacific sea in a deep dark trench there could be a megslondon feeding on whales. Or in the brumuda triangle all the ships that sink could be a megalondon attack
