Pentecostalism is not a religion, per se. It is a movement within Christianity that lays more emphasis on the Holy Spirit than other branches of Christianity.

Pentecostalism came from Protestantism, so few symbols are used. The most prominent symbol used in Pentecostal churches is the cross. You may also see the use of anointing oil to symbolize the presence and activity of the Holy Spirit. Other symbols such as flags are banners are used by some Pentecostal churches.
