Because its not nearly as accurate as litmus. Its hard to judge the changes in colour and also it smells quite bad, is difficult to set up and is plainly just far much more hassle. As far as performance it works averagely and can be used in school labs etc where accuracy isn't such a big deal, but in science labs outside of this, you would need something stronger and more reliable
Beet or cabbage juice can be used as sources of certain vitamins including iron and vitamin B. These items can also be used to create a beef and cabbage stew.
contrary to popular belief it is not actually blood. Blood is almost all drained out at the slaughter. It is actually myoglobin mixed with water. This is why there is no red juice in white meat.

It will turn either blue or green, both a hue of blue. The reason of this is that Red Cabbage Juice is an indicator, which is used to see wether an object or chemical is an acid or a base. If the object is an acid it will turn a hue of pink, and if it is a base, it will turn a hue of blue. Which is why a base mixed with Red Cabbage Juice will turn green.
no it reacts only with rainbow cabbage juice and not red
When adding tomato juice to cabbage juice, the cabbage juice turns redish
As tea ranges from mildly to strongly acidic, the cabbage juice should turn red or pinkish.
Both of these can be used as an acid-base indicator. The juice from red cabbage will turn different colours over a wide range of pH, from pH 2 (very acidic) to pH 13 (very basic). Red beet will be blue or red depending if it's in acid or base.
It will turn a red color indercating that is has got acid in it
Neither one is better than the other. Man-made and natural pH indicators do virtually the same exact thing, just with different materials.
put small pieces of purple cabbage in hot water and stir it and leave it for 20 min and take only water.
if indicator turns substance red it is acidic ,if blue then basic if no change then neutral
the color of the cabbage juice mixed with the chemicals shows where the chemicals would be placed on an pH scale. the lighter the chemical is with the cabbage juice, the more acidic. the darker, the more basic.
You will have made a pH indicator. Just like litmus paper.
It will turn greenish . The reason of this is that Red Cabbage Juice is an indicator, which is used to see wether an object or chemical is an acid or a base. If the object is an acid it will turn a hue of pink, and if it is a base, it will turn a hue of blue.
