Nightcrawler was not included in X-Men: The Last Stand due to scheduling conflicts and the actor's desire to explore other projects. The character was ultimately written out of the script, resulting in his absence from the film.

"The Professor" wakes up. I know he was disintegrated by the Dark Phoenix, but if you saw the part where he was teaching the class and some lady was talking on the TV, he was talking about transfering the conciousness of a sick person to a braindead, but otherwise healthy person. The backstory behind all that is apparently Charles had a twin, but he was so powerful, the twin was braindead. so they look the same

In X-Men: The Last Stand, he is murdered off-screen by Jean Grey possesed by the Phoenix Force.

Telepathy. He can read minds. He shoot strong mind-blasts. He has the most powerful mind of all the mutants in the world.

Cyclops possesses the mutant ability to project a beam of heatless ruby-colored concussive force from his eyes, which act as inter-dimensional apertures between this universe and another. Cyclops' body constantly absorbs ambient energy, such as sunlight, from his environment into his body's cells that allows him to open the apertures. Cyclops' mind generates a psionic field that is attuned to the forces that maintain the apertures. Because this field envelops his body, it automatically shunts the other-dimensional particles back into their point of origin when they collide with his body. Thus, his body is protected from the effects of the particles, and even the thin membranes of his eyelids are sufficient to block the emission of energy. The synthetic ruby quartz crystal used to fashion the lenses of Cyclops' eyewear is resonant to his minds' psionic field and is similarly protected. The width of Cyclops' optic blast is focused by his mind's psionic field with the same autonomic function that regulated his original eyes' ability to focus. As Cyclops focuses, the size of the apertures change and thus act as a valve to control the flow of particles and the beam's relative power. The height of Cyclops's eye-blast is controlled by his visor's adjustable slit. The beam's effective range is approximately 2,000 feet. Due to a head injury, Cyclops is unable to shut off his optic blasts at will and must therefore wear ruby quartz lenses to block the beams.

The X-men have many weaknesses, all human in nature. One of their biggest is that they ARE indeed human and sometimes forget that they don't always get along with each other. Another is that they don't always respond to each other's mutations in the best way possible. Most super heroes are more science adventure or science fantasy because they concentrate on the action and characters rather than getting the science correct. It is not realistic to get super hero powers from a radioactive spider bite or the ability to become invisible from cosmic rays.

Storm aka Ororo Iqadi T'Challa, née Munroe has the ability to produce harsh weather : lightining, rain, tempests, wind to defeat obstacles, produce electricity and mainly kick ass and look cool doing it. she is also one of the leaders of the team and one of the main charcacters

Jean Grey is an Omega level psychic, gifted with the powers of telepathy and telekinesis. Her telepathy allows her to read, influence, control, and communicate with the minds of others, project her mind into the astral plane, and generate telepathic force blasts that can stun others. Her telekinesis enables her to move physical objects with her mind. She can easily lift objects many times her own body weight and is able to manipulate hundreds of components in midair in complex patterns if she concentrates. As the phoenix, she has pyrokinesis. In the past, Jean has been able to tap into the cosmic "Phoenix Force" -- literally the fires of creation. When employing this force, Jean's powers are magnified to unlimited degrees. As Phoenix, she was able to manipulate energy on a planetary scale, rearrange molecules, warp reality, travel in time, come back from the dead and potentially do anything just by thinking about it. Her powers were limited only by her imagination and there was serious concern that she would consume the entire universe.

I just noticed this continuity error as well... The only thing I can think of to save the continuity is that it isn't actually Professor X walking, but an image he is projecting of himself, while he is sitting in his wheelchair in the helicopter.

There are loads of ways she can die.

If she is not phasing, she can suffer harm just like anyone else. (example: A sniper bullet from a distance.)

Since she is unable to breathe while "inside" an object, she can only continuously phase through solid objects (as when she travels underground) as long as she can hold her breath. If she were to fall unconscious (due to not breathing) and phase back in while in a solid object, she would die.

If she lives long enough, she WILL die... of old age.

In the end of Astonishing X-Men Vol 4: Unstoppable, she drifted off into space in a giant missile, she was inside it to save the world, and we don't know if she's dead.

Scott Summers, aka Cyclops, has not died in any of the cartoons or comics except in alternate futures, in which he has died too many times to count. In the movies, Cyclops was supposedly killed by Jean Grey as Dark Phoenix in 'X-men: The Last Stand', but since we never see a body, some fans like to suspect that Jean didn't kill him and he is still alive, despite what the directors say.

This question has been asked for years. It has never really been given a definite answer. Both the Avengers and the X-men are formidable opponents, with incredible team members. Also, it should be noted, that the Avengers and X-men have many crossover members, making it hard to determine who would stand with who during a battle.

Two. Cyclops is named so because the visor he wears in the comics, cartoons, and other x-men media is a single peice of deep-red non-reactive film that blocks the energy blast he fires from his eyes. In reality he has two completely normal eyes, just no control over his power.

Many heroes and villains throughout the X-men titles have shown the ability to control fire. Some of the most notable are Pyro, Crystal, Firestar, Magma, and Phoenix, though there are MANY more and there are slight variations of the powers on most.

Archangel has fully feathered wings that span 16' and have a very flexible skeletal structure. He can fly by flapping his wings, and can reach speeds of up to 150 mph. Though he generally flies below the height of clouds at 6,500 feet, Archangel can reach a height of 10,000 feet with little effort. His wings are strong enough to carry aloft at least 200 pounds in addition to his own body weight. Archangel's entire anatomy is adapted for flight, having hollow bones; a body virtually devoid of fat, granting him enhanced proportionate muscle strength; eyes that can withstand high-speed winds; enhanced eyesight enabling him to see at distances far greater than the average human; and a special respiratory membrane that extracts oxygen from the air at extreme velocities and altitudes. Following his secondary mutation, Archangel can heal fatal injuries and cure most known diseases at an accelerated speed by mixing his blood with that of the victims, so long as they have a compatible blood type. After genetic alteration by Apocalypse, Archangel's wings became composed of a razor-sharp organic steel-like material, allowing him to use them as slashing weapons. He can also expel his feathers at great speed and with tremendous force, enabling them to pierce even steel. The feathers are tipped with a paralyzing chemical generated by his body (he is immune). He also briefly possessed the ability to convert his life-force into solid light to form a pair of energy wings.

The members of the original class of X-Men (with the possible exception of Iceman) are probably 16. Beast and Cyclops both commented on turning 30 in '93-'94 (Beast in X-Men #24, don't remember the specifics for Cyclops), and it's safe to assume that Marvel's Earth's danced around the sun at least a couple of times over the last 15 real world years.
