The Beaufort Sea, part of the Arctic Ocean, is visible from the eastern end of the Brooks Range in northern Alaska. More specifically, from the top of Mount Chamberlin, Mount Isto, or Mount Michelson. These are each about 50 miles from the ocean, east of Prudhoe Bay on the North Slope.

The far western, lower end of the range includes the Baird Mountains from which the Chukchi Sea (Arctic Ocean) is visible. This includes such peaks as Black Mountain and Mount Angayukaqsraq, or Tingmerkpuk Mountain to the northwest.
