Aldosterone is the primary of several endogenous members of the class of mineralocorticoids in human. Deoxycorticosterone is another important member of this class. Aldosterone tends to promote Na+ and water retention, and lower plasma K+ concentration by the following mechanisms:
Aldosterone is responsible for the reabsorption of about 2% of filtered sodium in the kidneys, which is nearly equal to the entire sodium content in human blood under normal GFR (glomerular filtration rate).[5]
Aldosterone, most probably acting through mineralocorticoid receptors, may positively influence neurogenesis in the dentate gyrus. [6]
Cortisol is a corticosteroid, released by the body in times of stress. It caused blood glucose levels and blood pressure to increase, which provides energy and oxygen as part of the fight or flight response. It will also inhibit immune responses, reducing swelling/inflammation to wounds. Aldosterone is a hormone ised by the kidney. It helos regulte the amount of water and sodium (Na) being absorbed through the kidneys.
It increase blood sugar level. It also stimulate the lysis of proteins.
Not with out the STEROID part. which is a hormone.
corticosteroids
Adrenocorticotropic hormone or (ACTH), also known as 'corticotropin', 'Adrenocorticotrophic hormone'
That hormone is called as ACTH or adrenocorticotropic hormone. It stimulates the adrenal cortex to produce corticosteroids.
Corticosteroids affect mineral and glucose metabolism. One of them, cortisol, is a glucocorticoid and is generally regarded as a long-term stress regulator. Another is aldosterone, a mineralocorticoid, and it helps regulate salt in the body. And still another is an androgen, a masculinizing hormone.
ACTH
ardenocorticotroptic (ACTH) acts through the stimulation of cell surface ACTH receptors, which are located primarily on adrenocortical cells of the adrenal cortex. This results in the synthesis and secretion of gluco- and mineralo-corticosteroids and androgenic steroids.hope i helped !!

There is no such a hormone.FSH's release is triggered by Gonadarophin releasing hormone.
it is the hormone that causes the growth of pubic hair.
The endocrine system controls cell function by hormone action.
parathyroid hormone. it causes calcium to be released into the blood.
