If you have taken a Red Cross or YMCA course on babysitting, put that on there. Your name, age, neighborhood that you are willing to babysit in, and whether you will provide your own transportation are pluses. If you are best with one age group or another say, specializing in 4 year olds...offer to provide references upon request (neighbor, teacher, pastor or other person you have sat for). Also, include tearaway strips with your name, title and phone number so they can take those with them. If you know people who have kids in your neighborhood, stop in and introduce yourself and hand out a flyer to them.
Also add a magnet because the magnet probably goes the refrigerator and that's what they see everyday.
Say you are very mature and willing to take their children in a loving, and safe enviorment, tell them you love kids!
Here are some good ones-
Want a night out?
Need to take your kids of your mind?
Want a safe, and reliable sitter for your kids?
remember to write it in a BIG eye-catching font!
DO YOU NEED A BABYSITTER?!?!
i will watch your kids so u have a brake
Babysit for rich people.
You should probably try to get people close by in your neighborhood (this will be easier for transportation) and if you are younger like 12-15 then you should try to babysit children you know.
I myself am 12 and went to a babysitting coarse by the RedCross and i know for a fact that it is legal to stay home alone AND babysit at the age of 12, but no younger.
Technically to legally babysit you have to be 12 i think, so as long as you are babysitting and the cops don't have a reason to drop by you should be fine, as long as it is OK with the people for whom you are babysitting
There isn't one but most people are usually twelve when they begin to babysit.
Greetings Folks, I'm a mom whose reviewing babysitting laws because my own daughter has reached babysitting age. From what I can tell you do not need a license to babysit your own flesh and blood. If however you are professionally babysitting other people's children, that is to say, running a daycare, then you do need a license. Anne
In Canada I don't think that there is really a legal age to babysit. It is up to the parents. I know many 13 year old people that babysit 9 year old children and it has turned out fine. But it also depends on the child who is babysitting. If the parents feel that he or she is responsible enough, there should be no problem with them babysitting a 9 year old.
babysitting job send me a few people who would like to meet me and like me to babysit for them.
As far as I know, you don't need any certifications to babysit, but people will be more likely to hire you if you do. Like, it might help if you know first aid and such. As for the pay, you're the babysitter, so you determine the price. Look at minimum wage, perhaps, and go from there. You can adjust your pay rate according to how many children you'd have.
Im a 13 year old, and I babysit alot. Ask people you feel comfortable enough to babysit there children. If you do babysit, start off by babysitting local nieghbors. I make alot of money off babysitting. Or you could wash peoples cars. Or you could help elderly adults with groceries, gardens, pets etc good Luck :) :) :) ;) ... i would suggest poosibly doing volunteer work. You may not get paid, but it is good for your reseme, and it kills the time. Unless you were looking to get paid! :))
Make babysitting flyers and send them around town. you can get alot of different people paying you to babysit
I currently babysit, and I am nearly 14. I don't have tonnes of people wanting me to babysit, but I get a steady flow. I live in England, so it would depend on where you live and also how the parents feel about you being left in charge. For example, when I started babysitting some people probably didn't feel very comfortable about leaving me with children under a year old. So, it depends on where you live, the parents and how old the children are! Hope this helps X
